Kathleen Telesco is a painter and singer-songwriter based in Connecticut. She majored in studio art and media with a scholarship in drawing at Muhlenberg College. Having spent most of her life creating realistic still lives and portraits, she felt a pull toward expressionist and semi-abstract painting in 2019. Kathleen mainly works with acrylic paint and charcoal, using brushes and her hands to build layers. She draws inspiration mainly from nature, familial relationships and ancestry, and storylines from her dreams. She owns a photography and graphic design studio and volunteers as a wildlife rehabber, focusing on birds.
